FAQ’s

-
A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Unlike a midwife or OB, I don’t provide medical care. Instead, I’m here to guide, encourage, and help you feel supported while your healthcare provider focuses on clinical needs. Think of me as your constant, calming presence through it all.
-
Anytime, from early in pregnancy, closer to your due date, or after baby arrives! Some families like to connect early in pregnancy for ongoing guidance, while others reach out closer to their due date or even after baby is born. The sooner we begin, the more time we have to build a relationship and tailor support to your unique journey.
-
Not at all. I work with families of all kinds, whether it’s your first baby or your fourth. Each pregnancy and postpartum season brings new challenges and needs, and I’m here to meet you where you are.
-
Absolutely. Partners play such an important role, and I love helping them feel confident and included. I’ll share tools, knowledge, and tips to make sure they also feel supported in their role.
-
Yes! Virtual sessions are a beautiful way to connect no matter where you live. I offer video calls for education, planning, and emotional support so you still feel guided and cared for.
-
As soon as you’re ready. Some families want support in the first few days, while others prefer to wait a couple of weeks. I’ll work with you to schedule what feels right for your recovery and your family.
-
I serve families in Harford County, Baltimore County, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether you’re within my service area, just reach out and we’ll find the best option for you.
-
Yes! From firsthand experience, postpartum support makes an incredible gift. Loved ones can purchase a package or hours of support to gift, and it’s a truly meaningful way to help a new family.
-
Of course. I offer a free consultation so we can get to know each other and see if my support is right for you and your family.
